On 2003 , Open photography competition was organized by BTDC with a theme as the photographs os Bisket jatra.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, BTDC hosted the opening ceremony of 1st Thuraya TAAN Mountain Bike Championship on 5th June 2004.

BTDC had organized celebration of world tourism day jointly with BM,DDC, BCCI in Durbar square of Bhaktapru on 27th Sep2001.
